"whats the buzz? Tell me whats a happening"

I Watched me 'Jesus Christ superstar' this week. A formidable effort as far as rock operas are concerned. It does'nt quite rock as much as 'Tommy' does but all the songs are worthy of the rock monniker.
The film did remind me of 'Tommy in a lot of ways. The final shot of the sun setting is very similar and constant alluding to jesus and his cult like status in the same way 'Tommy' did. As far as both films are concerned, JC Superstar came first so i'd have to accuse Ken Russell of thievery.
It reminded of 'Tommy' but made me want to watch 'The Blues Brothers' again.....
