Course he should, course he should, course he should...

Saturday nights are adventurous one more.

What with only getting one dose of doctor who a year, the idea that saturday prime time tv reaching any level i would deem entertaining, would usually seem a ridiculous. Yet i have been saved from weekend dose of tedium (not counting work) by the clever chaps behind the BBC's new adaptation of the Robin Hood legend.

So here i am again, playing advocate to the goggle box. And rightly so.

This new take (Maid Marian and her Merry Men aside) on the Robin Hood mythology has plenty of ingredients to make it a sure fire hit. Well written, well delivered by the actors and more importantly, sword play.

The Bows and arrows motif is there also, but i think the producers are taking liberties. Robin of locksley is TOO good with his bow. Im half expecting 'arrowtime' to kick in at some point. Its only a small quibble mind. Keith Allen as a bastard of a sheriff of Nottingham and a yummy looking Maid Marian more than make up for it....

I would really like to see a Thor movie. Admittingly, this is largely because of the potential entertainment treat that could be 'Hammer Time'. :-)
