I thought i'd do the honourable thing and treat my guitar to a clean up, theres years worth of dead skin stuck to the neck and it just didnt look shiny anymore. taking off the age old strings seemed the right thing to do if i was to give the neck its full attention. lo and behold getting the strings back on again resulted in the complete breakdown of three of my strings. now i have to go and buy some and it aint something i can afford.
